Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior SEO Content Editor to join our team in Coimbatore. This full-time role is perfect for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience who are eager to refine content strategies and grow their editorial and SEO expertise within a rapidly evolving EdTech environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have experience in SEO optimization and demonstrate an understanding of how search engines rank and display content for maximum visibility.
  • Required background in content editing, with strong attention to grammar, tone, style consistency, and readability for web audiences.
  • Proven skill in keyword research, identifying relevant keywords and search trends to inform and improve content effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability in copywriting, crafting compelling headlines and engaging copy tailored to customer personas in the education sector.
  • Solid experience with proofreading, ensuring error-free and polished content across various digital channels with a keen eye for detail.
  • Competence in developing and implementing content strategies aligned with business goals and SEO best practices for knowledge commerce.
  • Skilled in competitor analysis, leveraging insights from market leaders to enhance content scope, depth, and differentiation.
  • Experience managing content planning processes, including editorial calendars, publication schedules, and workflow coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Edit, review, and optimize digital content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to SEO best practices.
  • Perform in-depth keyword research, incorporating high-value search terms to drive targeted organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with content creators to deliver clear, engaging, and informative copy tailored for educators and industry professionals.
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars, coordinating with stakeholders for timely content delivery and publication.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating insights for improved content performance.
  • Proofread and approve articles, ensuring all materials meet brand standards and guidelines prior to publication.
  • Measure and report on SEO content performance, proposing data-driven enhancements for continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas for new content initiatives aligned with TeachEdison's mission.
