Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished
Group Finance Manager
to lead financial strategy and governance across the Group and its subsidiaries. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in safeguarding financial health, optimising capital deployment, and enabling high-return investments. The role offers a clear pathway for progression to
Group CFO
for outstanding performers.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Metrics

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
    Lead group-wide financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to align with business growth objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure 100% compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
  • Portfolio Oversight:
    Monitor investment portfolio performance with a target IRR above market benchmarks.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    Identify and execute cost-optimisation initiatives aiming for a 10–15% reduction in operational expenses annually.
  • Capital & Cash Flow Management:
    Ensure optimal capital allocation, healthy liquidity ratios, and efficient working capital cycles.
  • Audit & Risk Control:
    Complete all internal and statutory audits within deadlines and strengthen risk mitigation frameworks.
  • M&A & Fundraising Support:
    Provide financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal structuring guidance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner with business unit heads to drive profitability across all subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent professional qualification
    (mandatory).
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience
    in finance, accounting, and strategic planning — preferably in venture capital, investment management, or diversified corporate groups.
  • Proven success in
    multi-entity financial leadership
    and
    cross-border finance
    .
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, tax regulations, compliance, and investment analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
