Role Overview :

We are looking for a motivated Oracle Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions, infrastructure automation, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery. This role involves technical handson work, monitoring & support, and helping the organization move more workloads to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) components including Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Databases (Autonomous DB, Managed DB), and other OCInative services.
  • Build and manage cloud networking: Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), subnets, gateways, NAT/IG/DG, route tables, Security Lists / Network Security Groups. Apna+2Adzuna+2
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
  • Deploy, administer, and optimize Oracle Autonomous Databases, Autonomous Data Warehouse, RAC, Exadata, etc. Perform tasks like backup & recovery, patching, security hardening, scaling. Techment+2Apna+2
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting of resources; track performance, cost, resource utilization; optimize for cost and efficiency. Adzuna+2Techment+2
  • Ensure security best practices are followed: IAM roles/policies, encryption, network security, compliance, vulnerability assessments. Adzuna+2Apna+2

Desired / Bonus Skills :

  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (such as OCI Architect Associate / Professional) or equivalent. Apna
  • Exposure to multicloud / hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization / orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Adzuna+1
  • Experience with PaaS services in Oracle Cloud: Integration Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Java Cloud, etc. TalentAlly+1
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tooling.
  • Good communication, teamwork, documentation skills; ability to work with stakeholders and crossfunctional teams.

Certifications :

  • Oracle Cloud certifications (OCI Architect, etc.) preferred.
  • Any other relevant certifications (security, network, database) are a plus.
