We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting company personnel & goods to various destinations across the state. This role demands punctuality, professionalism, and a strong understanding of road safety and local routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company or personal vehicle as assigned
- Follow designated routes or GPS navigation to reach destinations efficiently
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks
- Ensure timely reporting to the work
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate travel logs and fuel records
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly
- Assist with loading and unloading goods if required.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license (LMV/HMV as applicable)
- Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with roads and traffic patterns mostly in Tamil Nadu & Kerala
- Ability to read and follow maps or GPS navigation
- Good communication skills in Tamil (English is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed
- Clean driving record with no major violations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in driving commercial vehicles, taxis, or company cars
- Basic mechanical knowledge for handling minor vehicle issues
- Age should be above 24
