*BIM Coordinator – Rail Systems & Infrastructures*

With 75,000 employees worldwide, ALSTOM is a global leader committed to delivering innovative, sustainable, and intelligent mobility solutions. To strengthen our Turnkey BIM team, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled BIM Coordinator.

The BIM Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Project Engineering Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of GIS, BIM, and CAD deliverables, along with associated project data. You will oversee project resources and proactively advise the Project Engineering Manager on risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

From the initial analysis of contractual requirements to drafting the BIM Execution Plan and related deliverables, you will manage, coordinate, and facilitate collaboration between various stakeholders, including internal teams, contributors, partners, and suppliers, with the support of BIM Coordinators and an Information Manager, ensuring successful project delivery.

*Key Responsibilities*

*Technical Missions:*

* Interpret contractual requirements and develop a comprehensive project implementation plan.

* Ensure compliance and acceptance of all exchanged information, models, and documentation against project requirements.

* Guarantee compatibility, consistency, accuracy, and compliance of all CAD, GIS, and BIM data and object properties with project specifications.

* Supervise the production and coordination of CAD, GIS, and BIM deliverables.

* Formulate the project's digital vision and execution strategy.

* Coordinate the establishment and management of the Collaborative Data Environment (CDE) alongside the system administrator.

* Ensure contractor processes align with the Engineering and Business objectives, facilitating effective multi-discipline workflows and BIM utilization.

* Oversee model federation tasks and BIM use cases to ensure alignment with project standards.

* Develop and adapt robust procedures and methodologies to secure project quality and efficiency.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, coordinating proactively with internal teams and external stakeholders (contractors, partners, and suppliers).

* Ensure correct and efficient utilization of tools and processes, adhering to contractual Employer's requirements.

* Coordinate IT solutions essential for project delivery.

* Identify training requirements and facilitate targeted training sessions as necessary.

* Ensure adherence to agreed specifications, methodologies, and contractual BIM requirements.

* Evaluate and educate the supply chain on BIM practices aligned with project standards.

*Relevant Experience and Skills Required:*

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing BIM/CAD project delivery.

* Advanced understanding of BIM methodologies, processes, standards, and applications.

* Strong proficiency in BIM software tools: Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise, Synchro Pro, and familiarity with EDMS and GIS tools.

* Comprehensive industry knowledge in civil engineering and railway mechanical design.

* Experience interpreting and implementing BIM contractual requirements.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong organizational and team management capabilities.

* Fluency in English (additional language skills beneficial).

* Understanding of data flow management, including familiarity with SOAP, REST protocols, cloud infrastructure capabilities, and server cluster architectures.

* Computational skills in C# and/or Python are highly advantageous.

* Experience with risk management and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge and application of international BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS1192, etc.).

* Proven ability to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
