Role Overview: As a trading account manager, your primary responsibility is to connect the trading account with broker API and execute trading activities consistently on all trading days. You will monitor the trading activity generated through algorithms, intervening with manual trades only in exceptional circumstances. In case of any technical issues with the algo, broker, or exchange, you must take immediate action to resolve the problem effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Run backtests and compare actual trading results with backtest results to ensure efficiency of trading strategies. - Manage the pledging/unpledging of collateral, transfer funds between the trading account and bank account, and transfer shares and securities between demat accounts when necessary. - Maintain accurate records of all trading and investment activities, prepare daily fund statements, and generate strategy-wise profit/loss reports in the specified format. - Undertake any other assignments that may be delegated to you from time to time. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a trading account manager or similar role. - Strong understanding of trading platforms, broker APIs, and algorithmic trading. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure. - Proficiency in running backtests and analyzing trading data. - Knowledge of collateral management, fund transfers, and demat account operations.
