Position Overview:
The UX & UI Design Intern will be focused on enhancing the user experience for a core feature of Bose Professional products. The Intern will be responsible for taking new product requirements and translating them into tangible, user-centric designs. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact on user satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Research: Perform competitive analysis to identify best practices and design opportunities.
- Ideate & Wireframe: Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and low-fidelity concepts to explore design solutions.
- Design & Prototype: Create pixel-perfect, high-fidelity mockups and build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Refine: Iterate on your designs based on user feedback, technical constraints, and stakeholder input.
- Collaborate & Present: Work closely with your dedicated senior design mentor, product managers, and engineers, and present your findings and final designs to the team.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate program in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field.
- A portfolio is a must. It should showcase your design process, problem-solving skills, and examples of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- An understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- A keen eye for visual design, including layout, color, and typography.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate your design decisions.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
