Your key responsibilities :

- Work with other engineers to support our adoption of continuous delivery, automating the building, packaging, testing and deployment of applications. Create the tools required to deploy and manage applications effectively in production, with minimal manual effort

- Help teams to adopt modern delivery practices, such as extensive use of automated testing, continuous integration, more frequent releases, blue/green deployment, canary releases, etc.

- Configure and manage code repositories, continuous builds, artifact repositories, cloud platforms and other tools

- Contribute towards a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond. Share skills and knowledge in a wide range of topics relating to Devops and software delivery

- Develop, implement, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab and Maven for deploying applications in both cloud and on-premises environments.

- Work closely with development teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing systems to enhance performance and reliability.

- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Ansible and other configuration management tools.

- Collaborate with security teams to enforce and monitor security policies across all environments, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments, providing timely support to development teams.

- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, evaluating and recommending tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Could understand and work to automate different platforms lie Informatica, ETL ,Database scripts.

- Extensive experience building CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity or similar.

- Experience with a range of tools and techniques that can be used to make software delivery faster and more reliable such as experience in creating and maintaining automated builds, using tools such as Team City, Jenkins and Bamboo etc and using repositories such as Nexus and Artifactory to manage and distribute binary artefacts.

- Good knowledge of scripting languages, such as Maven, Gradle, shell, bash, ruby or python. Some experience with general-purpose programming languages preferably Java and a good understanding of git version control systems, branching and merging, etc.

- An understanding of automated testing (using tools such as Junit, Cucumber, Selenium and Protractor) and operating systems, platforms and infrastructure encompassing Unix and Windows, Docker, virtualization, PaaS and laaS technologies such as Open Shift

- Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP or SAFe

- Extensive experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, Terraform Chef, Puppet, Docker, Helm or similar tools.

- Facilitating the development process and operations.

- Identifying design flaws and performance bottlenecks.

- Capable of building suitable DevOps channels across the organization.

- Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development.

- Designing and delivering best practices across the organization.

- Guiding the development team for any end-to-end solutioning from Cloud point of view.
