The Opportunity

We are looking for Supply Chain Analyst (Transportation & Logistics) based in Pune, India. In this role, the candidate will join the Global Logistics & Warehousing organization as a part of the Corporate Supply Chain with key responsibilities across logistics operations, combined with advanced analytics, creating visibility across operations.  

You are to take lead on ERP improvements for logistics connectivity, data analysis to optimize sourcing, inventory, and procurement strategies as well as working with logistics partners on data quality and analysis leading to invoice & billing data accuracy.   Build dashboards, RFQ trackers, and supplier reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI. Supports global teams with KPI tracking, spend analysis, and executive reporting, focusing on cost savings, performance transparency, and reducing excess inventory.  The candidate will provide logistics and operational support for BCC (Best Cost Country) sourcing and the Pune Manufacturing Plant. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-time supplies from local external suppliers to JBT Marel locations globally in alignment with global best practices
• Provides direction and solutions in the development of JBT's ERP platforms in all aspects with a primary focus on operational and technical improvements. Preferably in Tableau or Power Bi.
• Extract and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights, including RFQ templates, price matrices, and pricing validation exercises.
• Generate detailed supplier spend and savings reports, with a focus on APAC based sourcing activities.
• Develop and manage a global RFQ tracker to capture package value, delivery timelines, part count, and status—ensuring visibility and timely decision-making.
• Support supplier performance evaluation, selection, and negotiations through data-driven analysis and reporting.
• Analyze spend within the category and track key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
• Work with BI Team to build analytical models and dashboards to monitor procurement KPIs and drive performance transparency.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources to create insightful reports that guide sourcing decisions.
• Participate in make-or-buy analysis studies, providing critical data and feedback to guide strategic sourcing choices.
• Collaborate with global teams across JBT Marel APAC sites to support logistics operations and/or initiatives.
