Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent. Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

• Lead testing strategy and execution for network solutions and NPIs
• Ability to handle Customer escalations, POC independently.
• Interact with TME, PLM, SW team to understand the requirements and device test strategies.
• Mentor team members.
• Develop automation framework and scripts to ensure regression coverage
• Assist Software Developers(s) with debugging of issues and create bug-defects.
• Write knowledge base articles to document common problems and their resolution for organization wide reference.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience working on large automation test frameworks
• Thorough understanding of Cloud & Enterprise Network Architectures and technologies.
• Expertise on for Campus Fabric Deployment validations and end to end EVPN-VXLAN configuration and debugging.
• Expertise in Access Security Features - DHCP/Dot1x/RA guard/ IPSG etc.
• Expertise in Networking, Campus fabric fundamentals and commonly used L2 protocols (xSTP, Multicast, Mac sec,Telemetry,L2CP,LLDP,LACP,LAG,McLAG,RTG,ERPS).
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python is a must
• Familiarity with Linux and related bash tools.
• Experience with configuring and setting up Juniper a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Able to work well independently and in a team
• Network certifications (or equivalent training/experience) are an added advantage. CCIE Preferable
