About The Opportunity
Recruiting for a technology services organization operating in the IT Services & SaaS sector, focused on quality engineering and test automation for web applications. We work with product and platform teams to deliver robust, scalable end-to-end automation that improves release velocity and reduces production risk.

We are hiring an on-site Playwright Automation Engineer in India to design, build, and maintain modern E2E automation suites and reliability tooling that run as part of CI/CD for high-traffic web applications.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement resilient Playwright-based end-to-end test suites using TypeScript/JavaScript for web applications.
  • Develop and maintain test frameworks, Page Object Models, helpers, and reusable test utilities to maximise test reliability and reuse.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and test reporting—triggered on PRs, nightly jobs, and release builds.
  • Debug, triage, and fix flaky tests; implement monitoring, retries, and stability strategies to reduce false positives.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to define acceptance criteria and expand automated test coverage for new features.
  • Create clear test artifacts—scripts, runbooks, and dashboards—so teams can act on failures quickly and continuously improve quality.
