Business Development Executive (BDE)

The Telecaller cum BDE is responsible for generating leads, reaching out to potential customers through calls, explaining products/services, and converting prospects into clients. The role also involves supporting field sales, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products/services.
  • Handle inbound inquiries, explain offerings, and resolve customer queries.
  • Generate leads, schedule appointments, and pass qualified prospects to the sales team.
  • Maintain and update customer database (CRM/Excel).
  • Follow up with potential clients to nurture relationships and close deals.
  • Coordinate with the sales/marketing team for business development activities.
  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly call and sales targets.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
  • Maintain good relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills (English & Malayalam).
  • Good telephone etiquette and active listening ability.
  • Basic knowledge of sales and customer handling.
  • Confidence in handling objections and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and team player.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum 12th pass / Graduate in any discipline.
  • 0–3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, or business development (freshers with good communication skills may apply).
  • Experience in industry, e.g., solar, IT, Healthcare etc will be an added advantage.
