The Securities Analytics and Products Group is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated software solutions to safeguard GoDaddy's ecosystem. We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and a keen focus on security. The ideal candidate will have proven of hands-on experience in software development, with a consistent track record of working with the latest software technologies while prioritising security best practices

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing secure software solutions to protect our organisation from cyber threats. You will get to work with some of the brightest minds to build secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservice based platform deployed on the AWS cloud, using the newest technology stack

What you'll do...

• Contribute to the development of scalable, reliable full-stack applications across frontend and backend systems
• Implement well-structured, maintainable code using Go, Python, React + TypeScript, following best practices
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design decisions and participate in code reviews and testing activities
• Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud services to build end-to-end features
• Write unit and integration tests, and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and stability
• Participate in incident resolution and contribute to improving system observability and performance

What we're looking for...

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in a full-stack environment
• Experience building user interfaces with React + TypeScript or similar frameworks
• Working knowledge of backend development in Go, Python, or Java/C#
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB) and cloud services (preferably AWS)
• Understanding of CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Git workflows, and basic containerization (Docker); exposure to Kubernetes is a plus
• Awareness of observability fundamentals (logs, metrics, monitoring) and agile development practices

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Exposure to system design discussions and a proactive mindset to learn from feedback and peers
