PSOC Analyst

Job Description – PSOC Analyst

Role Overview :

The PSOC Analyst will monitor and manage physical security systems, including
access control, alarms, and surveillance footage
, to ensure the safety of personnel, property, and critical assets. The analyst will work within a team of security professionals to maintain a proactive, 24/7 watch over the organization's physical security posture.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and analyze
live
CCTV surveillance
and security alarm systems to detect unauthorized access, theft, or safety violations.

Respond to physical security incidents
by escalating threats to appropriate security personnel and law enforcement agencies.

·   
Analyze recorded footage
to investigate incidents and provide evidence-based reports.

Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports
documenting security breaches, unauthorized access attempts, and emergency responses.

Conduct regular checks and tests
on security equipment, such as
access control systems, alarms, and surveillance cameras
, to ensure proper functionality.

Collaborate with security personnel and emergency respondents
to manage crisis situations effectively.

·  
Ensure compliance with security protocols
by monitoring employee and visitor access to restricted areas.

·  
Assist in security risk assessments
to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in physical security infrastructure.

Requirements:

·       Graduate degree or equivalent, with additional
training or certification in security management or surveillance operations preferred
.

·       Proven experience in
physical security operations, access control monitoring, or corporate security
.

·       Strong analytical skills and the ability to
interpret security data and footage accurately
.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report incidents effectively.

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in critical situations.

·       Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a high-security environment.
