PURPOSE - SQE is responsible for supplier performance on Quality & Delivery.The key objectives of SQE is to develop the part with the right manufacturing process taking into inputs the fit & function of the part based on specifications, vehicle level assembly and to secure the quality of the part meets all the requirements.  SQE is responsible for analysis of quality problems at Customer or ensure the root cause is identified and acted upon to resolve the quality problem.

REQUIREMENTS-

  • APQP & PPAP processes.
  • Manufacturing process of their commodity : Plastic parts commodities and Chassis components, sheet metals, Fabrication, combination, Fixturing, tooling, BIW components
  • Specifications / Drawing reading including fit & function at Vehicle level
  • Approach towards Problem Solving

Business Understanding  -

  • Manufacturing technology & process - Plastic parts commodities and BIW components
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & specifications
  • Fit & function study / process & product benchmarking

Education - B.E.  Or B.Tech

Relevant Experience - 3 to 5 years
