About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Associate Software Engineer
to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in backend development using
PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
, along with a passion for building scalable, efficient, and secure web applications.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow your expertise in modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using
    PHP (Laravel framework)
    .
  • Design and optimize databases in
    MySQL
    and
    PostgreSQL
    for performance and scalability.
  • Implement and customize features using
    Laravel Filament
    for faster and efficient development.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services as required.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Required Skills (Must Have)

  • Strong programming skills in
    PHP
    with expertise in the
    Laravel framework
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    MySQL
    and
    PostgreSQL
    databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Laravel Filament
    (secondary but required skill).
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

  • Knowledge of
    Python
    for scripting or backend tasks.
  • Experience with
    third-party integrations
    and
    API development/integration
    .
  • Familiarity with
    payment gateway integration
    (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, etc.).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in software development with proven project exposure.
