Head of Product & Technology
The Head of Product & Technology will be responsible for driving projects/products from inception through deployment across all lines of business. You will partner with Engineering, Architecture, Test, Product, UX, and Operations teams to lead, manage, and drive software projects to successful completion. Additionally, as the Head of Product & Technology you will contribute to our Agile Practice. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that is team centric and highly collaborative. You leverage elements of Kanban, Scrum, and Waterfall, depending on the project type, to achieve the desired business goals. You are operationally minded, results oriented and delivery oriented.
Role :- Head of Product & Technology
Experience :- 15+ years
Required Skills :- 15+ years in Development/Program Management/Technical discipline working directly with software development teams, with at least 4-5 years of Technical Program Management
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leads and management to clearly identify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals, expectations, tasks, and timelinesContribute to establishing methods and metrics for tracking technology performance and making decisionsHold project leads accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and deliverablesAnticipate, identify, document, and manage key project risks, proposing appropriate mitigation and contingency plansAccountable for managing the lifecycle for a complex cross functional body of work that has a long-term positive impact on the company.Define and organize the program, outline tenets, analyze data, drive performance improvements, and influence resource allocation for all stages of execution (from ideation to delivery).Works closely with development teams to build and launch new products, features and programs.Proficiency with planning tools, preferably tools used in Agile development (ex: JIRA)Drives internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.Removes blockers and always find the path forward in challenging situations.Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements Communicate technology strategy to partners and investorsRequirements
Skills:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or equivalent.15+ years in Development/Program Management/Technical discipline working directly with software development teams, with atleast 4-5 years of Technical Program Management Microservices experienceCloud/AWS/Digital experienceStrong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results orientedDemonstrates strong cross functional leadership to aligning process, projects, and people to meet business goals in cross-functional team settingsDemonstrated experience in defining and measuring team success via data-driven metrics & reportingExperience delivering with an Agile methodology is a mustA track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projectsExperience of building and launching a new product or services from the ground upStrong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations. Excel in conflict resolution, negotiation, and people managementAdept at driving continuous improvement for agile practices within and across teams-
