Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Backend Developer (Node JS), and it is a fully remote position. The primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, and implementing security and data protection measures. The Senior Backend Developer will also be involved in designing and implementing new features, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Computer Science principles
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
  • Experience in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
