The Product Diagnostic and Quality Centers are part of the NXP Quality organization and provide world-class services in Failure, Process & Material Analysis and Quality Problem Solving and Prevention. PDQC takes ownership of quality aspects in the whole chain from technology development, problem-solving and customer complaint analysis.

The Process and Material Analysis team performs process and material analysis to understand product failures and helps improve NXPs technology and processes. The team is composed of dedicated professionals in the field of material, physical and chemical analysis. The work of the team has a major impact on the success of NXP. We combine various techniques and expertise to continuously improve our products and processes. We are looking for an intern to increase our expertise.

• Bachelor or Master of Science - last year of (technical) university focusing on (analytical) chemistry, physics, material science (metallography/crystallography), or similar.
• Relevant hands-on experience (practical lab experience from university is sufficient).
• Good spoken and written English language (Dutch is a plus).
• Team player with a high level of independence.
• Strong in communication, interaction, presentation and reporting.

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project. Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
