Role & responsibilities

We're seeking a CNC Programmer and Operator to produce high-quality 2D/3D carvings on wooden doors and panels. The CNC Programmer and Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines for woodworking tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert 2D/3D designs into CAM toolpaths.
  • Set up and operate large-bed CNC router machine.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
  • Coordinate with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 3-7 years operating and programming CNC routers for wood, with demonstrated 3D carving work
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM Software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Hands-on experience with at least one: VCarve / Aspire, ArtCAM, Fusion 360 (Manufacture), Rhino/RhinoCAM, AlphaCAM, EnRoute.
  • Deep knowledge of wood machining
