Roles and Responsibilities :

The purpose is to dispense medicines prescribed by doctors and other health professionals and provide information to patients about medications and their use.

Qualification: Bachelors in Pharmacy / Diploma in Pharmacy Experience: 1 to 5 Years

  • Registration in Karnataka Pharmacy Council in mandatory*
  • Review prescriptions from doctors to ensure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability for the patient
  • Assist in advising patients regarding drug dosage as required
  • Stock managing and check for expiry date every month, maintain adequate stock levels
  • Assist in ordering and receive medicines from pharmacy stores
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of drugs in pharmacy
  • Ensure all the activities in the pharmacy bulk store are carried out as per protocol Skills & Knowledge:
  • Pharmacology and Pharmacy system knowledge
  • Analysing information and administering medication
  • Health regulations and legal compliance
  • Working knowledge of SOP, Quality and NABH Standards
