  • Lead electrical design for material handling systems including cranes, conveyors, lifts, hoists, and automation equipment.
  • Prepare electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN.
  • Select and size motors, VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, and other electrical/control components as per project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (IEC/IS/CE).
  • Coordinate with mechanical, automation, and production teams for seamless integration of systems.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at client sites.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Liaise with vendors and clients to finalize specifications and approvals.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical design for material handling equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.
  • Understanding of PLC programming basics, industrial automation, and SCADA (advantageous).
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical design & execution in material handling/manufacturing projects.
