Job Purpose / Summary

We are seeking a
meticulous and dependable Accountant
to manage and oversee the financial operations of a high-performance luxury event management company.

This role involves handling day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and audit coordination, while providing strong support for event-based costing and profitability tracking.

The position requires solid accounting knowledge, experience with multi-currency transactions, attention to detail, and effective coordination with the Dubai-based finance team to ensure smooth cross-border financial operations.

  10. Cost Control & Alerts

  11. Documentation & Archiving

  12. Interdepartmental Coordination

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT and audit procedures, and financial reporting standards for India and the UAE.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office software.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial data.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (mandatory).
  • Minimum
    5–7 years of experience
    in accounting, preferably within events management, hospitality, or creative industries.
  • In-depth understanding of UAE VAT compliance; knowledge of
    UAE Corporate Tax
    is an advantage.
  • Experience in event-based costing, reporting, and multi-currency operations.
