Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support the implementation of fabrication and manufacturing processes that deliver high-quality and efficient production outcomes. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in tool and die design, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing methods, process optimization, and quality standards.
As a Design Engineer at Medprime Technologies, you will play a key role in designing, testing, and improving manufacturing systems to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as efficiency, cost, and speed.
- Design, develop, and test both automated and manual systems to improve productivity.
- Design and install manufacturing equipment as per production requirements.
- Conduct mold tooling design reviews with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.
- Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources effectively.
- Integrate various systems, such as equipment handling and material transport.
- Optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations.
- Identify and resolve production issues or delays in a timely manner.
- Continuously seek ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
- Train production staff in new and existing fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Upgrade systems and processes by incorporating new technology and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Design or Manufacturing Engineer.
- Freshers with strong knowledge in tool and die design are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of tool and die design and fabrication methods.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office tools.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to work extended or late shifts occasionally.
