Job Summary:

Advaya is seeking a proactive and motivated DevOps Assistant to join our team. As a DevOps Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our DevOps team in managing and optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes. If you have a passion for automation, infrastructure management, and are familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms like GCP/AWS, and CI/CD pipelines, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of our fleet management solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and optimization of infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of applications on cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
  • Assist in the creation and integration of internet gateways for secure and efficient communication.
  • Work with Docker Swarm for container orchestration and management.
  • Assist in the setup and management of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) for secure network communication.
  • Support the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated software delivery.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of code changes.
  • Assist in the management of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Document processes and procedures to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
  • Stay updated on the latest DevOps technologies and best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
  • Experience in creating and integrating internet gateways for secure communication.
  • Knowledge of Docker Swarm for container orchestration.
  • Understanding of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and network security principles.
  • Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
