Store Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Executive to manage inventory and stock control in our store/warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials, supplies, or merchandise, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials/goods and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders or delivery notes.
• Properly store materials in designated areas, ensuring safety and easy retrieval.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement using manual registers or inventory software.
• Issue materials to departments/teams as per requisitions and update inventory logs accordingly.
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification of inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the purchasing department of low stock or reordering needs.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of all stored items.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and project/site teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store/warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with safety and storage regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.).
• Good knowledge of stockkeeping and material handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina for lifting, moving, or inspecting materials (if required).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in [customize for industry: e.g., construction material management, real estate project sites, retail stockrooms].
• Familiarity with barcode scanners and digital inventory systems.
• Understanding of basic accounting or GRN (Goods Receipt Note) processes.
