Electrical Draftsman

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Draftsman with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and coordination drawings using CAD/BIM tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical drawings, including lighting layouts, power layouts, cable routing, panel schedules, SLDs, earthing layouts, and fire alarm system drawings.
• Create detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Review and understand design inputs, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, civil, mechanical, and other project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Update and maintain drawing revisions, ensuring version control and documentation.
• Perform site measurement checks, if needed, for accurate drafting.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local codes, international standards (NEC/IEC), and company guidelines.
• Manage project deadlines and deliverables with strong attention to detail.
• Assist in BIM modeling, if experienced with Revit (optional but preferred).

Skills & Qualifications

• Btech\Diploma Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction or MEP projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, SLDs, and engineering documents.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
