Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in managing IT projects within a service-based environment, with a strong track record in web development and e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for web and e-commerce development projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Manage Shopify-based development projects, including theme customization, app integration, and third-party API implementation.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
  • Gather and document client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; provide regular updates, manage expectations, and handle feedback.
  • Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Maintain project documentation and track progress using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience in a service-based IT company.
  • Proven experience managing web development projects from planning to deployment.
  • Hands-on experience managing Shopify projects is mandatory – including store setup, theme development, and third-party integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage both internal teams and external clients.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • PMP, Scrum Master Certification, or other relevant PM certifications.
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus or experience scaling large e-commerce stores.
  • Technical background or understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid).
