Position Summary:

Associate Engineer II - SAP - Tester

Introduction:

Within ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products CIO, the department "Digital & IT CMO" (D&IT CMO) is an IT organization with proximity with Flat commercial business, which is responsible for the implementation of Business Processes and the interface management between operational Business stakeholders and IT providers. D&IT CMO main stakeholders are the Business owners of the different CMO processes, the end users (Sales Agencies & Order Management Platforms), Supply Chain, Industrial Clusters and mills within the Flat Europe scope.

The main Missions of our Department are:

Steer / Support Legacy Information Systems (Performance, user support, Budget).

Drive the Evolution of Legacy Information Systems (Adapt to New business needs, deploy, optimize): Concentrate Business processes & systems Expertise.

Support Innovation & transformation.

What does the job entail?

The test manager will be integrated within the "Order to Delivery" Domain managing quality of different Business processes (Order entry automation, Schedule business, Order & finished goods follow-up, EDI to customer, …) through different IT systems based on multiple technologies.

For start he/she will be dedicated to the processes implemented in our SAP ERP environment, later on he/she will have to support re-orientation of current solution.

His / her main missions are:

Ensure the quality and reliability of the SAP ERP system through comprehensive testing. This includes managing both manual and automated tests using the Worksoft tool. The test manager will collaborate closely with various teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that the system meets business requirements and operates smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Worksoft and/or other tools in future
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on SAP ERP modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test plans.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to the project team and management.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Who are we looking for?

• Your analytical skills allow you to understand a complex and SAP ERP system.

You demonstrate most of these key competencies:

• Experience with Worksoft automation tool
• SAP Ecosystem Testing.
• Manual & Automation.
• ABAP Coding
• Worksoft
• Integration Testing
• Acceptance Testing
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Background with SAP SD module (customizing, ABAP, debugging)
• Understanding of SQL and database concepts
• Experience in software testing
• Experience in a similar role within a large organization is a plus
• A master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineer Electronics or equivalent
