We are looking for a Creative Lead who can own and elevate all creative communication of our Micro-Content Vertical

This role sits at the heart of how we acquire, engage, and retain users. Your creative decisions directly influence our North-Star metrics. You will translate shows into high-performing ad creatives, design visual storytelling systems, and guide the creative pipeline across video, narration-driven promos, in-app experiences, cliffhanger variations, and more.

You will lead a team of producers, editors, and designers, shaping a creative culture that thrives on testing, iteration, and storytelling discipline.

Key Responsibilitites

Lead Creative Strategy for User Acquisition

  • Develop and own the creative strategy for performance marketing, ensuring all video and visual communication ladders up to aligned metrics.
  • Build creative narratives that serve paid channels including Facebook, Google, Moloco, and in-app inventory.

Translate Shows Into High-Performance Creative Assets

  • You will oversee the full creative workflow for micro-drama promos:
  • Watch and break down entire shows to identify high-point episodes, cliffhangers, emotional reversals, and ad-friendly moments.
  • Supervise creative variation cycles
  • Ensure promos follow the structured pipeline and achieve scale post-performance testing.

Build a High-Velocity Creative Testing System

  • Partner with the Performance Marketing Team to understand channel behaviour and align creatives to ROI signals.
  • Translate early data signals into fast creative iteration (new variations, tighter cuts, stronger narrations, better cliffhangers).
  • Maintain a repository of ad insights to drive repeatable creative success across shows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Promo Writers for story breakdown and scripting
  • Editors for pacing, tension-building, narrative clarity
  • Graphic Designers for presentation-ready in-app assets
  • Align creative strategy with team goals across new users, reactivation, and engagement.

Creative Leadership & Quality Control

  • Set the creative tone for promos, ensuring they reflect platform voice, narrative intent, and emotional hooks.
  • Review scripts, cuts, and designs with a high bar on storytelling, clarity, and performance outcomes.
  • Mentor and upskill creative teammates
Experience
  • 5-8 years in creative strategy, content marketing, digital storytelling, or video-led performance marketing.
  • Experience working with high-volume ad creative pipelines, media-heavy environments, or entertainment/content companies.
Skills
  • Strong storytelling instincts — especially for short-form, high-hook, cliffhanger-driven content.
  • Deep understanding of mobile-first performance creatives.
  • Ability to break down narrative content and identify promotable micro-moments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with video editing workflows (you don't need to edit but must direct).
  • Ability to direct & critique typography, graphics, layout, and show presentation.
  • Comfort working with data signals and performance dashboards.
