We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will work closely with our product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to create innovative mobile solutions that align with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with external APIs and data sources, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall development process.
  • Integrate third-party SDKs (e.g., Firebase, AdMob, Google Maps, Payment gateways, etc.).
  • Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (1–5 years) as an Android Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Android SDK.
  • Good understanding of OOP principles, Design Patterns, and MVVM/MVC architecture.
  • Knowledge of Room Database, SQLite, and Firebase.
  • Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or other version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Hilt/Dagger.
  • Knowledge of Material Design Guidelines.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integration and JSON/XML parsing.
  • Experience in Unit Testing and UI Testing.
  • Understanding of Play Store policies and app publishing process.
  • Basic knowledge of Flutter or React Native (a plus).
