Role & re Remote Clinical Coordinator Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly professional Clinical Coordinator to join our remote team. This role provides critical administrative and clinical support to a busy US-based medical practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background (Nurse, Doctor, or equivalent) and excellent communication skills, enabling them to serve as a vital link between the clinical team and patients. Key Responsibilities Drafting Medical Necessity Letters: Compose clear, concise, and accurate Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs) for medical procedures, treatments, and prescriptions to support insurance pre-authorization requests. Ensure all letters are well-structured, referencing patient history and clinical data to justify the required services. Patient Portal Message Triage: Monitor, review, and triage incoming patient messages via the practice's secure online portal. Respond to non-clinical inquiries and route messages requiring clinical judgment to the appropriate US-based healthcare providers (Physicians, PAs, NPs). Categorize and prioritize messages based on urgency to ensure timely responses. Communicating Lab Results: Contact patients by phone to communicate normal lab and test results in a professional and reassuring manner. Follow strict protocols for patient identification and information delivery, ensuring patient privacy and understanding. Document all patient communications accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Qualifications and Skills Required: A clinical degree such as MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, or B.Sc. in Nursing. Exceptional command of the English language (both written and verbal), with a neutral or US-compatible accent for clear patient communication. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Must be able to work full-time during US Eastern Time (EST) business hours. Preferred: Prior experience in a similar role (e.g., medical scribe, remote medical assistant, clinical support). Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Understanding of US healthcare system practices and patient privacy regulations (HIPAA).
