Façade Estimator

Job Summary

VS Craft Facades is looking for a skilled Façade Estimator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the façade industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, evaluating materials, and supporting the bidding and procurement process. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural and engineering drawings to understand façade scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for façade systems.
• Analyze project specifications and identify appropriate materials, systems, and fabrication methods.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support the tendering process by preparing costing sheets, pricing documents, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and project management teams for technical clarity.
• Track material costs, market trends, and pricing databases.
• Assist in value engineering proposals and optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the façade industry.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials (aluminium, glass, cladding), and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, cost-estimation tools, and reading technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and vendor coordination abilities.
• Must be based in Coimbatore or willing to relocate.
