We're Hiring: Coding Educator – Facility Outpatient (Oncology) Work Hours: 5 AM to 9 AM EST (Remote | 20 hours/week) Location: Remote (India preferred, U.S. time zone availability required) Domain: Oncology Coding (Facility Outpatient)Are you a certified medical coder with a passion for mentoring others and ensuring coding quality? We're looking for a Coding Educator to support our Oncology Facility Outpatient (FOP) team with real-time auditing, curriculum creation, and continuous training for coders working on U.S.-based projects. What
You'll Do:Train and upskill coders in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCSConduct quality audits, share reviews, and help coders meet 6 charts/hour productivity and 98% accuracy
Create and lead structured onboarding programs for new hires (30-day ramp-up)Maintain compliance with CMS, AAPC, AHIMA, and ASTRO/ACRO guidelines You Must Have:6+ years of coding experience, including at least 2 years in FOP or auditing
Active certification (any one): CPC, COC, CCS, CPMA, RHIT, RHIA, CICStrong command over U.S. healthcare coding systems and documentation standards
Previous experience conducting training (Zoom sessions preferred) Bonus Points For:Experience with Cerner, Optum CAC, Soarian, 3M Encoder, or MosaiqOncology coding background
Experience training coders remotely
