Mechanical CAD Designer

Roles and Responsibilities

The Mechanical/Structural Designer will be responsible for:

  • Preparing, checking, and approving mechanical and structural drawings/designs.
  • Coordinating design interfaces and ensuring clear communication across disciplines.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work.
  • Supporting Hyperscale Data Center Modules to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industrial standards.
  • Reviewing design deliverables to maintain consistency and quality.

Educational Qualification

  • Possession of a
    Technical Certification or Diploma
    in Mechanical Design or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 4 to 9 years
    of experience in mechanical and structural design.
  • Proven work experience in
    Hyperscale Data Center Modules
    or a related industry environment.

Technical Background

  • Strong expertise in
    Structural/Mechanical drafting
    ,
    Weldments
    , and
    Sheet Metal Design
    (mandatory).

Software Skills

  • Primary:
    SolidWorks (Expert level)
  • Optional/Preferred:
    Windchill, SAP
