Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate coding of medical records using CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific guidelines.
- Review and resolve claim denials through analysis and corrective actions.
- Identify trends and provide insights for process improvements.
- Participate in internal audits and coding quality checks.
- Mentor junior coders and support training activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project and client requirements
Essential Skills
- 68 years of hands-on coding experience (Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Dermatology, Endocrinology).
- Strong auditing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal).
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good knowledge of EHR systems and coding software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
