THE ROLE

At Loco Otro, we believe that great hospitality goes beyond serving drinks—it's about creating memorable experiences that resonate long after the last sip. As our
Bar Chief

, you will be the charismatic leader who sets the tone for our bar operations, inspiring your team to deliver quality service while embodying the vibrant energy that makes Loco Otro a destination for our guests.

Your role involves leading from the front, orchestrating seamless bar operations, and creating an atmosphere where both team members and guests feel the passion that defines our brand. You'll work closely with management and collaborate across all departments to ensure that every interaction reflects our commitment to great hospitality and innovative beverage experiences.

This leadership position is based at our restaurant and reports directly to the
Operations Head

. You'll be instrumental in maintaining the high standards that make Loco Otro a standout destination for guests seeking an adventurous culinary and beverage experience.

You have solid experience in bar management, with a proven track record of leading teams and creating great guest experiences. Your deep knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits is matched only by your ability to inspire and develop talent around you.

YOUR TEAM

As Bar Chief, you'll lead and inspire our talented bar team, working closely with bartenders, bar backs, and support staff to create a cohesive, high-energy environment. You'll collaborate seamlessly with our kitchen team, servers, and management to ensure every aspect of our service meets expectations. Loco Otro operates in a dynamic, creative environment, and you'll be expected to drive innovation and maintain our reputation while fostering a culture of growth and teamwork.

, working closely with senior leadership to ensure all bar operations align with our brand standards and business objectives.

: Create memorable experiences for guests through great service, engaging interactions, and expertly crafted beverages.

Menu Development

: Collaborate on beverage menu creation, seasonal cocktails, and innovative drink concepts that align with our culinary vision.

Inventory & Cost Management

: Manage bar inventory, control costs, optimize profit margins, and ensure proper stock levels and supplier relationships.

Quality Control

: Maintain high standards for beverage preparation, presentation, and service consistency across all shifts.

Training & Development

: Design and implement training programs for bar staff, ensuring continuous skill development and good service standards.

Compliance

: Ensure adherence to all licensing requirements, safety protocols, and responsible service practices.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


•
Leadership Experience

: Minimum 3-5 years in bar management or supervisory roles, with proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

Beverage Expertise

: Extensive knowledge of mixology, wine, spirits, and current industry trends, with ability to create innovative cocktails.

Charismatic Personality

: Natural charm and magnetic presence that creates memorable interactions with guests and inspires team members.

Operational Management

: Strong understanding of bar operations, POS systems, inventory management, and cost control principles.


•
Communication Skills

: Strong verbal communication, presentation abilities, and emotional intelligence.

Pressure Management

: Proven ability to lead effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality and team morale.

Business Acumen

: Understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and key performance metrics in hospitality.

Certifications

: Relevant bartending certifications and responsible service of alcohol credentials preferred.
