Role & responsibilities

  1. Student Guidance and Counseling

  2. Provide personalized counseling to students regarding academic choices, career paths, and educational opportunities.

  3. Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and career goals.

  4. Admission Assistance

  5. Guide students through the admission process for schools, colleges, or universities (domestic and international).

  6. Help with application forms, documentation, and understanding eligibility criteria.

  7. Course and University Selection

  8. Advise students on suitable courses, universities, and programs based on their academic background and career aspirations.

  9. Stay updated with educational institutions, rankings, scholarships, and entry requirements.

  10. Career Planning

  11. Conduct sessions or workshops on career guidance, study abroad options, and skill development.

  12. Provide insights on job market trends and emerging career opportunities.

  13. Communication and Relationship Management

  14. Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and academic institutions.

  15. Build and sustain partnerships with educational institutions and training providers.

  16. Documentation and Record Keeping

  17. Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and counseling notes.

  18. Ensure all applications and admissions are processed efficiently and on time.

  19. Marketing and Outreach

  20. Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events to attract prospective students.

  21. Assist in developing informational materials, brochures, and social media content related to educational programs.

  22. Follow-Up and Support

  23. Follow up with students after admission to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

  24. Provide continuous support for academic, personal, or cultural adjustment, especially for students studying abroad.

  25. Ethical and Confidential Practices

  26. Maintain confidentiality of student information and provide unbiased guidance.

  27. Adhere to institutional policies and professional ethical standards.

  28. Professional Development

  29. Stay informed about educational trends, visa regulations, and admission processes globally.

  30. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance counseling skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Counsel students and parents (in-person & over call) about study abroad options.

Guide them on universities, courses, and visa processes.

Stay updated with latest education trends and country requirements.

Handle data-driven counselling and maintain follow-up records.
