SAP ABAP Developer 4 Years' Experience (with FI Module)

Role Overview:

Looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5 years of progressive experience and strong coding skills in SAP ABAP. The candidate must possess excellent understanding of FI modules and previous experience coordinating with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs for FI modules (AP/AR).
  • Develop enhancements, reports, and interfaces to automate financial processes (such as F-53, invoice generation).
  • Handle functional specifications and transform them into technical solutions.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs related to FI transactions and document flows.
  • Coordinate regularly with business users for requirements gathering, solution demos, and post-live support.
  • Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.
  • Test and deploy ABAP developments in alignment with project deliverables.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years' hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming, including reports, enhancements, user exits, BAPIs, and BADI implementations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP FI modules and related business processes (AP/AR, credit/debit, auto-posting).
  • Familiarity with relevant TCodes (like F-53) and SAP financial document flows.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer/stakeholder coordination and communication.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
