Sr. Data Engineer - Scala Summary Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and modifies new and existing applications in areas such as Database or analytics development, and data integrations. Provides system support, testing, and training for Enterprise Data Lake clinical data. Proven 4-6 years work experience as an Azure Data engineer/Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge in Scala, Spark, SQL, and Data Bricks Demonstrated experience building Data Pipelines, Data Streams and optimizing data platforms. Experience Azure data services and languages to store and produce cleansed and enhanced datasets. Hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using Azure services, Serverless Architecture, Data Factory, Databricks Azure Data Catalog, Azure DevOps Experience in agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team Provide direction, guidance, and expertise to a team of database developers, and analysts, as well as collaborating with stakeholders. Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams. Experience in clinical data and analytics solutions preferable.
