SAP PP

Responsibilities:

• SAP Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules, including configuration and implementation.
• S4 HANA: Experience with S4 HANA features, particularly in PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) and Advanced Variant Configuration.
• Demand Management & MRP: Strong experience in demand management, MRP processes, and manufacturing execution.
• Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management processes, notifications, inspections, calibrations, and interfaces.
• PLM Product life cycle management: Efficiently manage product data, including parts, materials, engineering changes, and workflows.
• Integration Knowledge: Seamlessly integrate with other SAP modules like S/4HANA, Product data replicator (PDR), and external PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, MES, Ariba, Supplier 360, Windchill etc.
• Basic Knowledge in PM: Understanding of Plant Maintenance (PM) processes. Ability to handle minor calls related to PM.
• ABAP Basics: Understanding of SAP ABAP basics, including debugging.

Documentation:

• Building Functional Specifications (FS): These documents outline the functional requirements of the system. They describe what the system should do, including detailed descriptions of user interactions, data inputs and outputs, and system behavior.
• Detailed Test Cases: Alongside the FS, you need to create test cases that specify how each function should be tested. These test cases ensure that the technical team can verify that the system meets the specified requirements.
• Adherence of Compliance: Ensure that all processes and solutions adhere to both internal and external audit requirements. This involves maintaining accurate records, following established procedures, and being prepared for audits. Implement and follow information security protocols to protect sensitive data. This includes understanding and applying security measures to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
• Implementation Experience: At least three full-cycle implementation projects in PP and one in Variant Configuration.
• Implementation Experience in HANA: At least one end to end full-cycle implementation project in S4 HANA either in blue field or Brown field.
• Manufacturing Domain: Minimum of three years of experience in the manufacturing domain.
• Project Deliverables: Ability to manage project stakeholders, business users, and coordinate with other domains and interface teams.

• Training: Ability to train end users and power users on S4 HANA and ECC related to PP/QM.

• Audit Compliance: Adhering to internal and external audit parameters, Infosec, and GRCM.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Change and Release Management, Configuration Management, Test Management, and Service Delivery teams.
• Value added Improvements: Actively participate in initiatives like Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), cost-saving measures and best utilization practices.

Basic Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with 12+ years of relevant consulting experience in SAP MM and WM and S4 HANA features.
• Minimum three years Domain experience in manufacturing side as a planning and execution perspective.
• Minimum three Implementation experience in PP Implementation.
• Minimum one Implementation experience in QM Implementation.
• Minimum one HANA implementation experience in PP.
