Core responsibilities

• Client consultations: Assess clients' needs and beauty goals to recommend appropriate treatments and products.
• Service delivery: Perform a variety of beauty services, including:
• Skincare: Facials, waxing, and other treatments.
• Hair care: Shampooing, cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Nail care: Manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
• Makeup application: Applying makeup for events or daily wear.
• Client relationship management: Build and maintain a loyal client base by providing excellent service and personalized recommendations.
• Administrative tasks:
• Greet clients and manage appointments (booking, scheduling).
• Maintain client records, including contact details and treatment history.
• Manage inventory and stock levels for products.

Essential skills and requirements

• Technical skills: Proficiency in various beauty treatments, product knowledge, and staying updated on the latest trends.
• Customer service: Ability to communicate effectively, listen to client needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Hygiene and safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools are properly sterilized.
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods while performing services.
• Business acumen: Ability to cross-sell products and services and contribute to the salon's revenue.
• Licensing: A professional license is often required, depending on local regulations
