Mould Engineer

Role: Injection Molding of High Precision, High Accuracy, Intricate parts using High Temperature Thermoplastic Materials

Designation: Senior Process Engineer INJECTION MOLDING

JOB DESCRIPTION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1) Good Hands-on Work Experience in setting up of Advanced / Complex Injection Molds with Hot Runners, Valve Gates, Complex Motion systems, Electrical Sensors and Hydraulics.

2) Very thorough hands-on working knowledge in the area of TESTING, DEBUG and QUALIFICATION of Injection Molds as described.

3) Good Hands-On operational Experience of Process Setting on User Interface Control panels on Injection Molding Machines such as Milacron, L&T, Demag, Toshiba, ENGEL and other reputed brands.

4) Good Hands-On experience in setting up process parameters, fine tuning processing to produce very fine high precision, intricate injection molded parts based on Imported Grades of Nylons, Glass Filled Nylons, Imported grades of PC, PC+ABS, PPS, PPCP, ABS, HIPS, TPE-TPUs and other engineering grade High Temperature Thermoplastics.

5) Very thorough hands-on working knowledge of Plastic PART DFM, Mold DFM. Enriched experience in Engineering Thermoplastics over a wide range of application for UV, High reliability and long life products.

6) Candidate preferred from Automotive, Advanced Engineering Industry with application experience focussed on Engineering Thermoplastics and Elastomers

7) Candidate should have experience in fully engaging internally with the R&D New Product Development Design Team and with the External Mold Manufacturing and Molding Suppliers.

8) High Intensity Job requiring candidate to spend time at suppliers sites during mold testing, troubleshooting, mold trials, debug, production setting and processing

9) Candidates should be very flexible and be able to work in STL's fast paced environment and fully be prepared to travel to supplier sites for Mold Trails, Mold and Product Qualification, Production level setup, trouble shooting, S.O.P formulation

10) Education from CIPET / GTTC / NTTF in Polymers, Molds etc is preferred.

11) Ideal Candidate should have hands on experience based on the above for minimum of 5 Years.
