We are looking to expand our Product team at Scapia

Focus areas:


1. Drive Product Strategy Across Scapia's Core Pillars

a). Own and define the strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for your product group (e.g., Card Lifecycle, Travel Store, Rewards Engine, Risk Platform, Acquisition Funnels, App Experiences).
b). Translate company goals—activation, spends, credit performance, loyalty, travel bookings—into team-level objectives and product bets.
c). Identify long-term opportunities uniquely suited for Scapia's combined card + travel ecosystem.

2. Lead & Develop a High-Performing PM Team
a). Manage PMs/APMs across multiple squads; define their goals, guide execution, and grow their craft.
b). Create a culture of speed, experimentation, and strong user-centricity.
c). Ensure clear prioritization, crisp problem definition, and excellent storytelling across teams.

3. Deliver World-Class Customer Experiences
a). Oversee product development across onboarding flows, card management, rewards redemptions, trip planning, bookings UX, and post-booking journeys.
b). Ensure every experience is intuitive, reliable, and tuned for conversion at scale.
c). Partner with Design, Engineering, and Data to ship high-quality products at rapid velocity.

4. Build Strong Cross-Functional Alignment
a). Work closely with Leadership, Growth, Partnerships (bank and network partners), Risk, Compliance, Customer Success, and Operations.
b). Lead product reviews, create clarity around trade-offs, and align stakeholders on decision-making.
c). Collaborate with the bank partner to ensure regulatory, risk, and operational requirements are consistently met.

5. Drive Measurable Business Impact
a). Depending on your charter, you may own:
b). Card activation and spends growth
c). Travel conversions and revenue
d). Rewards utilization and breakage optimization
e). Risk and fraud reduction
f). Acquisition quality and funnel performance
g). Customer retention and lifetime value
h). You will continually use data, experimentation, and thesis-driven product thinking to deliver improvements across these metrics.

6. Deep Customer & Market Understanding

a). Investigate customer needs across the credit, travel, and rewards lifecycle.
b). Stay close to user research, complaints, operational pain points, and App Store feedback.
c). Understand fintech + travel trends, competitive card products, and evolving regulatory changes.

Profile:

Experience: 8–12+ years of PM experience, including 2+ years managing and developing PMs.
Proven track record of shipping and scaling consumer-facing products.
Experience in fintech, cards/payments, lending, travel, or marketplaces is a strong plus.
Comfort working with bank partners, compliance frameworks, risk systems, and regulated flows.
Excellent product sense with an ability to simplify complex financial/travel journeys.
Strong analytical skills; able to define metrics, interpret data, and run experiments.
Highly effective communication and storytelling across leadership and partner teams.
Strong technical depth and familiarity with backend systems, data pipelines, and risk engines.
Ability to make tough decisions, prioritize ruthlessly, and drive clarity in ambiguity.

Good to have:

Experience scaling 0→1 and 1→100 products in a fast-growth startup.
Familiarity with underwriting logic, credit systems, or fraud tools.
Deep understanding of consumer growth funnels or travel booking funnels.
Passion for travel and building delightful financial products.
