Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced 
QA Automation Engineer
 with strong expertise in 
Python scripting and Selenium WebDriver
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation frameworks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through continuous testing and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust 
    test automation frameworks
     using 
    Python and Selenium
    .
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
  • Develop and execute 
    test scripts
     for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Implement 
    CI/CD integration
     for automated test execution (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
  • Conduct 
    API testing
     using tools like 
    Postman
     or Python-based frameworks (e.g., 
    Requests, Pytest
    ).
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using 
    JIRA
     or similar defect tracking tools.
  • Perform 
    root cause analysis
     and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Work in an 
    Agile/Scrum
     environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage, stability, and performance.

Required Skills:

  • Strong programming experience in 
    Python
    .
  • Hands-on experience with 
    Selenium WebDriver
     and 
    Pytest / Unittest frameworks
    .
  • Experience with 
    API testing
     and 
    RESTful web services
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    CI/CD tools
     such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with 
    version control systems
     like Git.
  • Knowledge of 
    database testing
     (SQL queries).
  • Good understanding of 
    software testing life cycle (STLC)
     and 
    defect management
    .
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with 
    BDD frameworks
     (Behave, Cucumber).
  • Exposure to 
    cloud testing environments
     (AWS, Azure).
  • Performance testing experience (JMeter or similar tools).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in 
    Computer Science
    , 
    Information Technology
    , or a related field.
