Foreman (Construction)

Job Summary:
The Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day construction activities at the site. This role ensures that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers on site.
- Ensure that all site activities are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Allocate daily tasks to site teams and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity of the workforce.
- Inspect work progress, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders for smooth site operations.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and site regulations are strictly followed by all personnel.
- Prepare and maintain daily work reports, labor deployment reports, and material usage logs.
- Identify and resolve site issues or report them promptly to the project management team.
- Assist in planning manpower and material requirements in advance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Btech. Or Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience in construction supervision.
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a Foreman in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
- Thorough understanding of construction drawings, methods, and safety procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work at project sites as per company requirements.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in construction.
- Understanding of local labor laws and site safety practices.
