Architectural Draughtsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced 2D Architectural Draftsman with over 5+ years of expertise in producing precise architectural documentation for international projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, strong coordination skills across disciplines, and a commitment to maintaining global drawing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently develop precise and comprehensive 2D architectural and shop drawings using AutoCAD, aligned with project specifications and international standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior draftsmen, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless design coordination and eliminate clashes.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance checks, manage drawing revisions, and maintain version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with project managers and clients to clarify design requirements, address technical queries, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure full compliance with international codes and drawing standards, including ISO :1992 and ISO 128-1:2020, as well as internal documentation protocols.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance drafting workflows, integrating new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and output quality.

Technical Expertise

• Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and other advanced 2D drafting tools, with a strong command of architectural detailing.
• Proven ability to interpret complex architectural sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications with precision and clarity.
• Well-versed in international drawing standards and documentation protocols, ensuring compliance with global project requirements.
• Extensive experience in interdisciplinary coordination, including integration with BIM platforms such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Skilled in maintaining high-quality drawing standards, including correct line weights, hatching, dimensioning, and annotation styles.
• Capable of managing and updating project-specific checklists to align with client expectations and quality benchmarks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a consistent track record of effective teamwork and thorough documentation.
