About the role

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead their Human Resources function, enhance and evolve the organisational culture, and amplify their growth trajectory. The HR Head role is an incredible opportunity to build upon the existing HR systems, refine their practices, and elevate their strategic capabilities, directly contributing to their growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Craft and lead HR strategy: Partner with the leadership team to design and execute an HR strategy aligned with organizational priorities, becoming the go-to leader for all HR-related matters.
  • Attract and retain top talent: Drive end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition, and management processes to position them as a premier employer while building a strong, dynamic team.
  • Build a thriving workplace culture: Champion their core values to foster a collaborative, engaging, and productive work environment that inspires team members at all levels.
  • Develop and scale learning & development initiatives: Establish impactful training, coaching, and development programs that enhance skills, performance, and growth opportunities across the organization.
  • Enhance performance management: Build and refine frameworks that drive high performance, support career development, and align team goals with organizational objectives.
  • Boost employee engagement and well-being: Promote mental health, work-life balance, and team satisfaction through tailored initiatives and regular feedback mechanisms.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI): Support DEI efforts to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where every team member feels valued and empowered to thrive.
  • Streamline HR operations and compliance: Oversee all HR processes, ensuring smooth operations, legal compliance, and the adoption of best practices in HR management.


Requirements

We seek talented professionals passionate about driving educational transformation and making a positive impact. We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and meet the role requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Work Experience: We value both professional and personal experience. Candidates with 10-15 years of Human Resources work experience in the development sector or otherwise. Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to act as both a strategic and operational leader.
  • Other Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and great at prioritising the most important tasks. Knowledge of MS Office and organisational software and tools, including MS Team, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.
  • Attributes/Attitude: You thrive in extreme autonomy and in dynamic environments without hierarchy - that, at times, can feel like chaos. Building teams is more exciting to you than being an individual hero. You are excited to roll up your sleeves and get into the weeds with the team, helping solve problems instead of only giving strategic direction.
