Role Overview

We are looking for a
DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
who will design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure that powers Nirabalance's health platform.

You'll ensure that our systems from APIs to mobile backends — remain
highly available, secure, and observable
, while continuously improving reliability and developer velocity.

This role blends
DevOps craftsmanship
with
SRE discipline
: you'll build automation, set up scalable systems, and respond proactively to ensure our clients — many of whom rely on Nirabalance daily, experience zero friction.

Key Responsibilities


• Architect and manage
AWS environments
(VPCs, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, S3).


• Maintain hybrid workloads across
Ubuntu
and
Windows Server (IIS)
with a focus on uptime and performance.


• Automate infrastructure provisioning with
Terraform / CloudFormation
and configuration management tools.


• Design and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).


• Implement
observability and monitoring
the metrics, logs, tracing (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).


• Refine
SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs
for key services; continuously monitor and improve them.


• Ensure
MongoDB
instances are resilient, replicated, and backed up securely.


• Manage
incident response
and root cause analysis; champion a "no surprises" culture.


• Optimize
cost, scalability, and performance
across environments.


• Integrate
GCP services
(e.g., Translation, Maps APIs) as lightweight, reliable dependencies.


• Enforce best practices in
security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance
.

What You'll Bring


•
3–5 years
of experience in DevOps or SRE roles supporting production systems.


• Deep expertise with
AWS
and strong understanding of
cloud networking, automation, and monitoring
.


• Experience managing
Ubuntu
and
Windows (IIS)
production servers.


• Working knowledge of
MongoDB
operations and performance tuning.


• Proficiency in
CI/CD
,
Docker
, and
infrastructure-as-code
.


• Hands-on with observability tools and incident management processes.


• Strong scripting skills —
Bash, Python, or PowerShell
.


• Familiarity with
security and compliance
in cloud environments.


• Calm under pressure and proactive about preventing outages before they happen.

Nice to Have


• Exposure to
Kubernetes
or
ECS
at scale.


• Experience with
cost optimization
and
autoscaling strategies
.


• Understanding of
Zero Trust

SSO
, and secure API access management.
