Quality Assurance Executive

MH London & RMS Associates seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Executive to join our company.

Madeleine Home London is an e-commerce company incorporated in the US, UK, NL, and AU with their operations office in India. The Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and conform to regulatory requirements.

RMS Associates is a buying /sourcing agency set up in Noida, India with expertise in home decor, furniture, home textile and apparels. We help International Retailers and Importers/Wholesalers source merchandise from Indian Factories.

Responsibilities-

1. Quality Control:

2. Conduct thorough quality inspections of furniture products at various stages of production, from raw materials to finished goods.

3. Identify and report any quality issues, defects, or deviations from standards to the Quality Assurance Manager.
4. In-line Inspections, Pre-Productions Meeting, Mid-Line Inspections, Open Carton Audit,

5. Final Inspection, Drop Test, Packaging, Corrective Action Plan, During Production Inspection, Container Loading, Why-Why Analysis, Testing Standard.

6. Quality Improvement:

7. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance product quality.

8. Participate in root cause analysis and help establish preventive measures to avoid quality issues in the future.
9. Identify product quality risk and develop solution plans during Product Development and before Pre-Production Meeting.

10. Proactively identify potential risks before they become an issue, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action.

11. Documentation and Reporting:

12. Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, including photographs, reports, and test results.

13. Prepare regular quality reports and share them with the Quality Assurance Manager.

14. Execute all the duties assigned by management related to QA/QC initiatives.

15. Regulatory Compliance:

16. Ensure that products comply with relevant quality and safety standards, including international export requirements.

17. Vendor Quality Assurance:

18. Collaborate with vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in furniture/home decor production.

19. Customer Feedback and Support:

20. Address quality-related inquiries and concerns from customers and provide solutions to quality issues promptly.

21. Work with the team to implement customer feedback for quality improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile -

1. An impeccable moral & ethical compass with high regard for integrity and honesty.

2. Abundant technical experience and deep knowledge of furniture and hard goods product construction, finishing, materials, and componentry.

3. A solid understanding of various furniture builds qualities and design principles.

4. Industry-leading knowledge of the AQL Inspection system.

5. Good experience in solving production quality problems.

6. Business proficiency in English and Strong MS Excel skills.

7. Excellent time management skills, QA system, and process design skills.

8. Degree/Diploma in Wood Science & Forestry or Master in Wood Science/Diploma in Quality Management or any other relevant degree.

9. Experience in the QA division of the Furniture/Hard Goods Manufacturing unit will be preferred.

Key parameters for hiring-

1. Certification in Quality Management and knowledge of Hard goods/Home decor/Wooden Items.

2. Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.

3. Understanding the technical specifications and manufacturing processes of different types of furniture is crucial for effective quality assurance.

4. Being familiar with international quality standards for furniture and home decor is essential for ensuring that products meet the required benchmarks for both production process and packaging.
